Do You Send the Same Person Every Time My Home Is Cleaned?
We make every effort to send the same cleaner to your home for each visit. Our goal is to provide you with consistency, no matter what; even if circumstances demand a staffing change.
All of the cleaners provide the same consistent service to every customer. If you would like to make a change, please do not hesitate to ask.
How Do I Pay? And Can I Get a Receipt?
We have a simple ‘pay-on-the-day’ policy. Your payment options are cash, check, Venmo and Zelle, paid directly to your cleaner. If you would like a receipt, please email contact@freshfusion.com and we will happily supply you with a tax receipt.
Please remember, we are a small, family-owned business that relies on this income for our everyday expenses, so one missed or delayed payment does make a big difference to us! Therefore, payment must be received on the date of service; we cannot invoice.
If you will not be home for your cleaning, please make arrangements to leave a check or pay ahead of time.
Do I Tip the Cleaner?
Tips for our cleaners are appreciated but not required. Leaving a great review on Google, Facebook, or referring your friends will mean a lot to us and help us get more customers. If you do wish to leave a tip, please place it on the kitchen counter with a note so we know it is intended for us.
Do We Have to Sign a Contract?
No, there are no complicated contracts. We are happy to earn your business each time we clean!
The only thing we ask is, if you must cancel a regularly scheduled appointment, that you do it at least 48 hours in advance. A cancellation without enough notice to reschedule another appointment directly affects the cleaner’s income.
What Time Will the Cleaning Associate Be at My Home?
We cannot guarantee an exact time we will arrive because each home gets the attention it deserves. We never rush through jobs and never leave until the job is done to our standards. However, we do offer arrival time windows and preferences to fit your needs.
We normally work Monday through Friday. We want you to enjoy your weekends with no interruptions. We are very flexible and will work with you to find a day and time that meets your needs and meet with you in person or via video call beforehand to agree on expectations and pricing if you will not be home the first time.
Do You Provide the Cleaning Supplies or Do We?
The choice is yours. We realize that most customers already have basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, broom, mop) in their home. Each cleaner also has their own supplies with them at all times. Should you wish for a specific product to be used, please leave it on the counter with a note or just let us know.
How Do You Get in My House If I Am Not at Home?
You do not need to be home, although of course you’re welcome to be. Most of our customers are not at home when we come to clean after the first time. We will make personal and confidential arrangements with you on how to gain access to the house.
From time to time, we have arrived to find we cannot get into the home or office. We will try to reach you first, but if we cannot gain access, it directly affects our income and we may bill for 50% of the service that would have been performed. We can also work with you to try to fit you into another spot that week to avoid this charge.
Do I Have to Do Anything Before the Fresh Fusion Arrives?
In order for the cleaner to do their job, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, and other household items. The housekeeper will not know where your personal items belong and we cannot go into your closets or drawers to put things away. The more surface area we can access, the more we can clean.
Place fresh linens on the beds if you would like us to remake the bed with clean linens. We are not able to wash laundry and remake the bed.
What If My Cleaning Is Scheduled on a Holiday?
We will contact you in advance to reschedule your appointment.
What If I Need to Reschedule an Appointment?
Please call or text us at least 48 hours in advance.
Why Does the First-Time Cleaning Cost More?
The first time we clean your home it always takes longer. Because of this, we charge an additional fee. Often there are areas of the home that have not been professionally cleaned or need some extra TLC. The first-time cleaning fee covers the additional time required to thoroughly clean all items listed on the Checklist.
The first cleaning is also the ‘getting to know you/your home’ stage – the more feedback you can give after this first time, the more we can tailor your service and become the expert of your home.
What About My Pets?
We love animals, but sometimes they don’t love us. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporary arrangements (such as the garage, a kennel, or a closed-off room) while we are in your home.
